Biography:
Jespher Onyango studied Medical Laboratory Sciences at Mount Kenya University, Kenya, and graduated with a BSc. in 2014. She then earned an MSc. in Clinical Microbiology from Mount Kenya University in 2019. She is currently a PhD student in the Applied Health Sciences program at the School of Public Health at Augusta University, and she works as a Graduate Research Assistant, supervised by Dr. Silva at the Georgia Cancer Research Center, USA. She has published three research articles in the International Journal of Scientific and Research Publications. Her research interests focus on the discovery of potential medicinal plants to be used against common infections.
