Biography:
Jennifer Bertoni is an occupational therapist, health system leader, and scholar-practitioner with expertise in integrated care, rural health systems, and health equity. She completed a Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation and Health Leadership, where her research explored how occupational therapists understand and enact culture, equity, and justice in rural and remote practice. Jennifer currently serves as Director of Integrated Care with the Kiiwetinoong Healing Waters Ontario Health Team in Northwestern Ontario. Her work focuses on integrating evidence, community partnerships, Indigenous-informed approaches, and system transformation to improve equitable access to person-centred healthcare.
