Title : The future of Natural medicine

Abstract:

This paper will examine the nature and basis of natural medicine and then consider some aspects of its future direction of travel. Possible areas of cooperation with mainstream medicine will be considered as well as some areas of potential friction. Some consideration will also be made of the theories that underpin each and how they might affect cooperation or conflict.  (about 250 - 500 words)

Biography:

Peter Morrell studied biochemistry at Bath University, changing to Zoology at Leeds University graduating BSc in 1973.
He studied education at Exeter University graduating PGCE in 1976.
He then studied at Staffordshire University graduating in 1999 with an MPhil thesis in medical history.
From 1998 to 2008 he was Hon Research Associate in medical history at Staffordshire University.
For most of his career he has been a lecturer in environmental science and anatomy and physiology, while also practicing homeopathy part-time from 1979 to1995.
He has published more than 50 research articles in homeopathic journals since 1994.
